You mean the guy who went five years without a legit D-1 QB? You mean the guy who hired his son as OC and QB coach and kept him there for years despite his ineptitude, forcing the AD to finally fire him? You mean THAT guy?
Yes everyday and

Yes that's the guy. The guy who wins. I will take him every day and twice on Sunday.

I agree. And I still have a little lingering resentment because of it.

Allowing Brian to run the offense and quarterback room into the ground for multiple years is the textbook definition of nepotism and I will hold that against Kirk and Gary Barta forever. At this level of football, it’s inexcusable.
Kirk seemed to have a little sense of entitlement and fiefdom around Iowa Football and with a weak assed AD around I can understand it. With Beth in charge showing she isn't afraid to address the elephant in the room, Kirk has changed it seems. It's like he's hungry again. While he has loads of equity and job security, it felt like he was coaching for his job much like he did in the earlier years

I mean also the Big Ten record holder for losses. But today was a good game, just wish it would have counted for something.
I bet OSU, Texas Tech, and Alabama wish their last games counted for something too. Millions of dollars spent on their rosters and one final *** kicking. The good news for them is they can spend another 40 million to make sure they get back to the playoffs. Yes, these are wonderful times in COLLEGE football. When is this charade going to end? This is professional football with free agency without any controls in place. Academics? Haha, good one. When was the last time you heard of ANY college football players not playing because of academic ineligibility? College football players must be smarter these days. No way are they going to let some pin head professor cost a program their star player that is already making 10 times what the professor is making.

Who by the way is doing a great job! If you ran a business would you hire a trusted family member? I would.
I wouldn't hire one who didn't have any experience doing the specific task of managing someone else in a role they had never done before.
