Confidence is a very big deal. Just watching that kid on the sidelines, his body language was a complete 180 toward the positive before every kick. Credit to this kid. Now he's got to make a couple in front of the home crowd into that sea of red behind the goal posts.

Shout out to Brett Maher for working with the kickers. They've stayed at it and it looks like things are starting to turn around!

This kid was good before Maher started with him. It was just a matter of getting good snaps and holds. He had a scholarship offer to Coastal Carolina and turned that down to walk on at NU. Those blocks weren't on him.

He might miss 2-25 yarders this week.

I think it might have been that they fixed the snapping issues.
The snap on the first FG was way inside and was a great job Boom to recover.

Those snaps screwed up his timing during the games earlier. You could see him stutter step on almost all of them. They may have taught him to wait a hair longer for snap recovery before stepping.

The angle of his kicks seemed very good and the accuracy was perfect Saturday.

Yes he had a scholarship offer. He got the late walk on offer due to our current kickers health. That's all been discussed. His body language was 100% better than it was at first. I'm happy for the kid to have success.
