I was busy early in the game. check the score, 7 zip, then 14-3. Finally sat down at 14-6. from then till halftime the D was ferocious. That pass for a TD down the middle grabbed by that big dude reminded me of Bavarro.

Goal line stand, had to get up and pace the room for those plays...

The ones who play fb. No idea if they are any good, but that was one exciting game, one total BS pass interference call, and one heroic stand to keep them out.

On the day they honor the 86 team. Nice.
You think they ever say hi or, I don’t know, go out to dinner with the baseball Giants when they’re in town?

Giants lose all three of those games last year. Defense making plays in the fourth quarter. One game at a time and try to find a way to win the next one.

At the same time, Eagles getting bit by injuries.
Re the Eagles, "Yes" and that Division looking very much up for grabs. Commanders and Cowboys don't impress so far....so who knows what the possibilities are.

As a Jets fan all I can say is, "Must be nice"....

Like anything in life, leadership matters. Found ways to lose games with novice coaches, finding ways to win them now.

You see adjustments on defense which was a huge issue last year, they sorted out the kicking game (finally) to become an asset and flip field, and you have players who floundered playing well so far. The two 1st Round picks have also been outstanding.

Jameis is a bad QB ar this stage, OMG. The amount of bad throws is shocking. And with zero threat of mobility, the run game suffers. I don’t think this will last long.

Jets fans still are trying to figure out why they did not draft Arvell Reese and he is showing us he is a stud and just getting started.

Giants have adults in the room now with very experienced coaches and staff and its making a difference on the field. Giants fans are not fooled - we are not beating the best teams right now but we are finding ways to win games and that was not the case since Tom Coughlin left. Great to see the team playing with more confidence. If they can get Jameis to play better and see the field and be more decisive that will go a long way. Also have to stop the turnovers. Cards are not a bad team either. Much better than the Titans. Crazy they are 3-1 right now but so happy they are competing. Coaching and talent evalution goes a long way.

David Bailey certainly looked like the real deal today. I don’t think Jets fans have any issues with that pick.

What was Daniels thinking??

And speaking of clock management….the Eagles on line one….
Yeah it was a crazy day in NFC East. Jaguars left with enough time for a miracle field goal.

Regarding Harbaugh, he may have forgotten it was sudden death. The Giants were close enough for a game-winning field goal but kept running it. Then lost the ball!

Bizarre ending today. Washington's awful clock management salvages what would have been a crushing defeat after Skattabo's fumble.
That was a bad call on the Giants to run the ball again.Right before the play I said kick the FG. They were on the 25. Then Dan Quinn, who makes the worst calls as a head coach. That was a disaster by him.

At first I thought the same. But the kicker had missed 3 already. It was wet. It was 1st down. All made sense to keep getting as close as possible. Can’t expect a fumble there. Skattebo needs to see the bench for a week or two at least. Harris is doing just as well or better.

It actually was a good call. Kicker missed three FG’s and Washington had no time outs left. Run the clock down, hope to pick up more yards and don’t give them a chance to score if you miss the FG.

You don't need to run the clock down there. After each team has had a possession the first to score wins in sudden death, if I'm not mistaken about the NFL overtime rules.

It's true he missed 3 FGs but they were closer before the fumble than on his other misses, which may have been due to the wind.

The kicker missed 3 field goals today. Not good. Offense came to life in the second half, the blitzing worked, overall defense not great. Skattebo has to hold on to the ball in that situation. Very fortunate to get the tie.

But if he misses the FG, you are leaving Washington time to score (which would be the first score).

Bingo. You should be able to walk it off there: win or tie. Simply need to hold onto the ball and not be dopey fighting for yardage.

But they did gain again the standings.

The Giants can win the Division with 9 wins. Can they go 6-6???? Will not be easy. The Tie could be the difference.

Skattebo fumbled the ball with approx. 1:55 left. Neither team had any time outs. If he doesn't fumble the ball and the Giants run two more plays they can run down the clock and have the last play of the game. Now a legitimate counterpoint to all of this is they should have just taken a knee three times but the kicker just hooked a 46 yard game winner a few minutes prior in bad weather, and if they stayed at the 25 it would have been a 41 yard attempt (even assuming Winston doesn't lose yardage kneeling the ball), so I can't fault Harbaugh for wanting even 5 more yards in that scenario. Skattebo needs to hold on to the ball.

Agree. I don’t think it was a bad call for all of those reasons. Also, Skatteboo runs so low to the ground that it’s harder to force a fumble. Unfortunately he did, but I would do the same thing Harbaugh did.
