Purdy had a bad game. It happens. He had a really good game 2 years ago at FSU.

I hope he gets a shot, but I’ve never been sold on him. I really wanted the QB out of Westside that went to NDSU.
Slow played that kid then couldn’t flip him when Super Mario’s first choice went elsewhere
I don’t believe that. He is terrible. He maybe worse than McCaffrey. Show me one time he has looked competent in a Husker uniform? When I went to school there was a Qb who always played great in practice. . The guys I knew on the team said he was the best Qb on team during the week. Then when it came to playing in a game and this is was a freshman game, not even a varsity game he would have a complete meltdown. They said he could not spell his own name. I think this is Purdy. TO’s first year was my freshman year. I am not naming names. Besides that, what is this about how Purdy was good 2 years ago!!! That’s a long time ago.

Had friend tell me Curt Dukes was the same way in the Solich years. Absolute Money Monday-Friday…but was so nervous on Saturday he couldn’t get it together.

McCaffrey was the worst QB I have ever seen take snaps in a college football game.
Yea blame Mario for not recruiting a homegrown qb instead of the ******* dickhead homegrown qb in charge

King_kong, How bad is Haarberg been here 2 years and for a player that has a strong arm he must not make very good decisions that know one on the staff has any confidence him running the offense..
When a QB is playing as bad as Purdy has been “ In Game” it’s time to try others on the bench . This coaching staff is no different than any other, they have favorites and bias .
Side note: Take a look at the K State QB roster, both the second and third string QB’s can play .
At Nebraska , when was the last time we had a decent next man up on the QB roster? Seems to me if they could play they left , both under Frost and Riley .
oh and….Ganz only played when Callahan’s “Chosen” one got hurt.
It's mind boggling. I mean I can understand not wanting to throw a young QB out there early (and potentially ruin him like Martinez). But damn he seems like the best raw arm with legs this team has. And it's not like he doesn't have a year or two of college experience already...
To be fair, he spent a year being coached by frost which probably set him back to somewhere in middle school as far as development
who knows, maybe we’ll see him this year at some point
Whipple and Joesph have said we only have 3 QB getting practice reps for games..We won’t be seeing him except for on the sidelines at home games..
