How Bad is BC?

BC didn’t have a good OL to begin with, but losing their LT for the VTech game was a brutal loss for them. Think of the drop off for us from Michigan to NW last year when we lost ONeal.

And we didn't have our starting QB or RB along with the TE. Also, our best pass rusher is out for the season. It goes both ways. We made a ton of mistakes, and BC could not take advantage of them. We left two scoring opportunities on the field because of errors, so yes, we are leaps and bounds better.

Not to mention we are also missing 2 LBs in our 2 deep on Defense. And also our best OL (Sutton) is out for the season. We have more significant personnel loses than BC .

BC's defensive line was poor (last year gave up 170 run yds per game).
However RU's open field blocking was tight and that takes skill (not so evident in years past)

It was acceptable at BC. Their defense looked solid against VTech. They were also down one of their top players who played in our game.

That's one thing I don't think ADs pay enough attention to as in who has your HC candidate been associated with in his career. They all reach into their connections just like anyone else but if those connections are weak, that's not a good recipe. HCs should reach outside of their bubbles to get the best people but they often don't so as an AD you have to be aware of that behavior. How does Buh get to be a DC, despite poor results over and over? He's not the only one, there are many like that.

We are not going to out muscle the B1G. Hopeful the OC can be more creative to get our QB easier/short throws that balance the O.
