Some random thoughts.

Zeke Moore SIUE - 13.3 pts, 51.4% fgs, 40.7% 3-pt, 75.8% fts

Chris Barnes E. Mich - 6.5 pts, 47.3% fgs, 27.3% 3-pt, 81.8% fts

Curran Scott Clemson - 7.6 pts, 43.6% fgs, 34.4% 3-pt, 77.4% fts.

On a side note, much has been said of our 3-pt shooting. We could be OSU, who was 1-20 last night against W Virginia.

Tulsa - 45.8% fgs, 34.4% 3-pt

OSU - 41.2% fgs, 29.6% 3-pt.

Zeke was the leading scorer in a big upset victory on the road at Belmont the other night.

Zeke just doesn’t get his shot off fast enough and isn’t very active on defense. He was never going to be in the rotation for us.

I thought we would miss Scott. I would like to know what Haith thinks. I think he was forcing things, like Glenn Andrews once upon a time. He is a good player but so goofy with his ballhandling and hard to play with some other guys who have similar issues. I wonder if there were chemistry/ locker room issues.

I don’t understand Barnes.

I still think Zeke had all the tools to be a valuable role player for us (6-7 dudes who shoot 38/49/78 don't just grow on trees), but it was almost like he had the yips. The game just seemed to move too fast for him at this level. It may never have clicked, but I wish we'd given him more run to find out.
