They are in a bad spot...everyone can see it is not working but they sure can't pull the plug on him anytime soon without some major backlash. If Willie Tag were our coach I wouldn’t attend games either.

Not quite 90%...in 2017 we averaged 18k no-shows per game...If Mike would have been extended or if Frosty chose Florida that % of no-shows would have certainly grown. The game is going to be different in 10 years. I foresee the abandonment of pay to play and each team will do its best to fill its schedule with power 5 teams or independents. The days of cupcakes are coming to an end because attendance is so poor at these games. Conference realignment has also broken old rivalries. A bad Nebraska team could still look forward to ruining a season for K. St or Missouri or Colorado because we hate their guts. I don't care to watch us play purdue or indiana, even if we are decent. The greed of early in the decade is going to cause long term damage to the game...as is always the case with such thingsShows how special Lincoln is, good times or bad we’re always full (or at least 90%). Another big reason getting recruits to NE shows how much support from the fans. Pac 12 is an embarrassing attendance conf. As a side note.
