Heck of a second half by Brookhaven. Although y’all need to ditch the Ole Miss knockoffs yall wear ******. Seriously though great game tonight by the Panthers. 7 came to play!

I watched the game. When Brookhaven turned it over FOUR times in the first half, I thought they were cooked. After the half, they were by far the more physical team. Congrats.

No doubt. WP is not used to being out "physicaled", but Brookhaven definitely did so, especially in the second half.

It’s definitely an upset, but high school football rankings are basically useless.

There was a time when Brookhaven was one of the bigger programs in the state. It's been many moons. Glad to see them back having success. Pro HOFer Lance Alworth played there in the 50's.

They were an original member of the Big 8 conference, which basically determined the big school state champion in the days before the playoffs.

About like Raymond High Basketball. To get through that basketball tournament every year for, I think, 9 consecutive years... at a school that doesn't scream recruiting... that's an impressive feat.

I’m celebrating vicariously. I was born in McComb, grew up in Brookhaven then moved to Clinton in Jr. High. Brookhaven >>>>>>>>>>>> Clinton to me, so congrats!!

Brookhaven was legit this year. Lot of turnovers in 1st half & completely mismanaged things only down 12-10 going into halftime to give up a TD. Didn’t watch 2nd half but looks like they dominated. WP may take a step back next year. They said the entire starting defense was seniors. They need to open up the offense some and get away from the run heavy misdirection they’ve been running forever.

My son attended the game and said he'd never seen so many QB draws in a football game.
