Houston just scored to pull within 34-27 with 3:30 left in 3rd qtr. Houston had 3 straight possessions where they turned it over. Navy running really well.

Navy just answered with a 34 TD pass for a TD. 41-27. Both teams looking good. Navy being very physical. I expect Houston to come back but Navy giving them all they want.

Houston looks average right now. Not sure if it's the weather or scheme. Navy is playing almost all zone in pass coverage and rushing just 4 with an emphasis of keeping Ward, Jr. in the pocket.

Oh, and Iowa State is smoking OSU right now in Stilly. Iowa State looks to be running a playbook of about 5 plays: screen right, screen left, handoff, QB read option, deep cross...

The wheels have come off the UH bus. Herman will be coach at LSU or UT before you know it.

Kitties are gonna lose. Hope that does not work against us next week. It eill certainly take the shine off any upset win by TU.

Navy's d-line getting good push against UH. Ward is so dangerous in space.

This loss, and Pee Wee Herman's imminent departure to either LSU or UT will provide a distraction for kitty.

Last time they were distracted by a pending coach's departure, we popped them by 50+. God how I loved that game. But I left stadium wishing we beat them by more - a lot more.

We'll beat Tulsa 100-6 next Saturday so no worries here.

I thought you were done posting here. Welcome back! Did you ever send that application to Tulsa Welding School? I know you went to Coog High, so if you need some help signing it, let me know.

Nothing wrong with being a welder. Underwater welders in particular, make a pretty solid income.

I know! That's why we tried to help you last year before you got upset and vowed never to post here again. Some people are afraid to help themselves and advance their lives. But we tried! Because ITS is about people helping people.

Anywho, I'm pretty sure you can't swim.

Houston can't stop the run. Go look at OU game stats. Subtract Baker Mayfield's "rushing" yards where he danced around in the pocket and you'll see that OU averaged 5 to 6 yards per rush. Riley just did a terrible job calling plays. Can't wait to see Brewer, Flanders and hopefully a healthy O-Line run through Houston next weekend!

Are you stupid or something? We have the #1 rush defense in FBS.

OH. Congrats!

I apologize for being mistaken. I read that Navy rushed for 300+ yards and 5 yards per attempt and thought that was bad for houstons defense. I'm so dumb sometimes.

Triple Option is different from your typical rushing offense. Tulsa won't be able to move the ball against us, especially on the ground.

Holding an option team that only runs the ball to 300 yards is considered a victory these days. I mean, good defense means you let the other team do what they excel at, right? They didn't let Navy pass for 500 yards. So there's that! I sense a John Klein article coming.

Old P***y King keeps trolling here. He ought to be searching for their next coach when Pee Wee Herman moves to Austin.

I'm gonna miss Houston when they enter the Big 12.

What? They'll never get in the Big 12?

Welcome home Houston, kick your shoes off and stay a while (forever)!

And GJ ran for 100 yards and threw for 300.

Speaking of, his little brother McClane Carter threw for like 600 yards in 3 quarters for his JUCO yesterday

It's obvious Herman is gone and UH knows it. I just saw this posted on Houston Craiglist.

"Like new, only used for 2 seasons. No longer needed. Make offer. Possible partial trade for Rice season tickets plus cash"

This is how you have to play Houston. Last year he torched us (and everyone else) because people kept overpressuring him in the pocket and it would leave gaps between their guards and tackles for him to run through, with his receivers being basically used as downfield blockers for him.

I'll admit that he's gotten better as a passer this season, but I'd still much rather him throw than run.

Didn't Navy knock off Houston's perfect season last year as well? I was bummed to see Houston lose to those guys this year. I would rather see us beat them this week, or for them to go undefeated and have an American team in the CFP. I know their fans are a-holes, their students uninitiated, and their coach overtly homosexual... But those things aside, doesn't it do more for our conference to have highly ranked teams in our midst? I was looking at ours today on the CBS 128 and we're not even in the top 50. All the teams we've beaten are cellar dwellers apparently. You could've fooled me though. SMU and Fresno played lights out the entire game against us, they sure didn't look dead to rights at any point in either contest.

It was UConn last year.
