Will not be signing with NU today and I'd be surprised if he signed with NU at all. Some have speculated that grades are an issue and that NU doesn't want him to sign if he doesn't qualify.
I've think one sign that we've upgraded in the recruiting world is that this staff seems to really want to avoid signing non-qualifiers. With Riley and Bo, that wasn't the case. The idea was to sign them and hope for the best. I wonder if part of it with Frost's philosophy has to do with the "back dating" of recruits that you can do? I'm talking about taking in transfers and counting them toward the last class, as well as having a few 2020 recruits (which is looking very promising) count back to the 2019 total.

The rules also changed to where those players count against your class now too. So you are penalized for signing non qualifiers, that wasn't the case for all of Pelini's classes and most of Riley's.

This year we have signed 27, 5 counted back to 2018 so that leaves 3 open to be used for grad transfers or to be used for 2020 recruits to sign back to 2019. So if a grad transfer or 2 come in before the fall, we would have less to use as back daters.
