Good start early, we just need to make sure we don’t turn it over. We’ve already had one bad TO with that long outlet after rebounding a Houston miss.

We had the lead & missed 5 open 3s in a row. The only way we make it a game will be hitting 3s. Great crowd energy so far.

Need to get that deep ball dialed in, 0-6 from three against a quality team is a recipe for disaster. It’s been our normally good shooters putting the up too.

Maybe the substitutes early might have not worked this time. But good experience for the Freshmen.

Houston has turned up the heat the last couple of minutes and converted a couple of turnovers into points. Honestly though with us shooting under 30% from deep it could be worse. We need to get Selebangue involved again.

Honestly 17 at half isn’t as bad as I was afraid of, especially the way we played at times. Bryant being 0-5 from the free throw stripe hurt as did 8 turnovers. They have 13 points off turnovers and we have 0. We take care of the ball and hit the free throws and we’re right there. Maybe we can pull our head out in the second half.

Went to Bodeans for my wife's birthday and watching on TV now. As expected looks like game over at halftime.
How is Bodeans? My wife loves seafood (I don’t) but I’ve been leery of taking her for seafood that far inland.

The way Selebangue has played so far against a bigger talented Houston team if we can get someone to take the heat off, whether it’s special K this year or Reed and Williams next year, he could make some teams in our league cry.

I know we have to be patient but it is SOOO hard to watch us being this bad. Really glad I am not in attendance. Makes me literally sick (no it is not the fish).

Starting to get tense and grumpy. May need to change the channel. Don't want to ruin my wife's birthday with a foul mood.

Houston and Arizona will be final 2 I suspect. The freshman are not the answer and need to go

Your typical supportive post 😂.
He's going to melt every game or every other game for awhile. And defensively he tries to imply he's a better fan, by comparing attendance or if you donated as much money. It has become old really quickly. Jesus it was easy to predict the game would be like this, but he is surprised by it every time.

So I went to watch Avatar 2 this evening and recorded the game. Spoiler alert there is drowning in both the movie and this game. Jeez Louise. I knew we would get destroyed today but individual things. Selebangue needs to not leave the gym until he practices free throws until his arms fall off. Passing is becoming a hindrance as the passing once houston got up by 20 was just sloppy. Heart was there and will was there just not putting it all together.

On to the next game on New Years

So you were happy? Did you even go?
I was there as were most real basketball fans. I enjoyed the game even with the loss. Remember I saw Bill Self lose to Gonzaga 78-40 his first year. He made a huge change in his lineup the next year. It's kinda fun to see what type players we need to get to compete with the Houston's of the world. And the atmosphere was really good. There was a standing ovation for TU at the under 16 time out which we haven't seen in a long time.

No you know it all I wasn’t surprised
But I am disappointed and expect better
Maybe you like mediocrity
If you don’t want to read my posts there is an ignore button you can use

I listened to that GZ game and was not remotely worried because I knew what Self had accomplished at ORU

I hated the outcome, but enjoyed our effort and especially enjoyed tonight’s crowd.

A good portion stayed until the very end and cheered at every good play by TU.

I think everyone knows we need this team to show improvement and we will most likely need a lot of new players next season. Konkol has shown he knows how to build a program.
