Taplin deservedly got a seat, but what made Haith think our lineup with him on the bench should be Joiner, Jackson, Korita

Also, as good as our effort has been recently, it went to crap when Houston started hitting shots and calls didn't go our way. We're playing like we're pouting

We’re too easy to defend.
Shut down Etou and let the rest of the team flounder.
Only hasn’t worked once.

This game is probably a tie breaker since we only play Houston once this year. Need that 30 point comeback.

This is embarrassing. Major issues with our program.

If it weren’t for the prayer win vs UCONN, we’d be staring at a 2-7 start to conference play.

The guys seem completely outmatched. Not good for Haith’s 4th season.

We were down 18-22 at the 13 min mark and then didn’t make a FG again until 4:55 and then it was 24-44. Not going to win games running Woj level of bad offense.

What can you do with it being called this way, frustrating.

We are falling apart. Just embarassingly bad tonight and it started with the first round of subs.

Etou is a grave disappointment. If he keeps playing like this we will end up with a losing record.

Not really a valid excuse.
We got 2 quick fouls on one of their bigs
Fouls are 7-9 in our favor.

Our offense is crap if Etou isn’t being aggressive and scoring

We’re shooting at or just below average and they’re almost doubling that.

I think it’s my fault. Things went south when I turned it on and it was 15-15. I’m turning it off, hopefully that helps the team go on a run.

Edit: Deleted. Too close to personal criticism of a player. I'm heated and need a break.

Softest defense I’ve ever seen. Would love to hear about the defensive game plan. Don’t guard the three point line against one of the best shooting teams in the country. Haith is getting schooled by Verizon man

It's hard to expect a team to play with much intensity and mental toughness when you have a head coach who seems to be merely going through the motions.

60 points in 1 half! Haith should be fired based on this debacle alone! The Haith train is about to go off the rails!

Yea,
Neither him nor his team have any fire or meanness.

Where did Jeffries go after the first break?

He did not play at all during our implosion.

I care less that Tulsa has a losing season or .500 type season every now and then. It happens. But I beg for HOPE and potential --- I want to see young talent coming in and have hope for the future.

I want a charismatic coach who you just watch and see the passion, the fun, the excitement.

Tulsa is dead.

I don’t understand the soft comment. You’re soft if you’re getting pushed around inside. They’re not going inside. 39 of 59 points have been from the three. Some of those have been open but a lot have been with a hand in the face. Sometimes the opponent is unconscious from deep. Hopefully they cool down in the second half but even if the do the hole may be too deep. Our offense is a bigger problem than the D. We’ve had some open threes a d they’ve either rattled out or were way off. Taplin’s had two air balls.

Don’t hate, but two thoughts:

1. Unless VIPs like Zit step up, no one is buying out Haith this year.

2. No more retreads. Tonight is case in point.

Agree. If the time comes and we part ways with Haith, we need a young up and coming coach who brings energy to the program and recruiting. We have facilities and conference which should appeal to a young ambitious coach looking to make his name in a legitimate basketball conference.
