It's all in his head, he's just gotta shoot his way out of it.

Just like Master many years ago, Fredrick has to be guarded at all times. So he helps the team even if missing.

He’s gonna make them over time.

Hate on him. Hate on Cal.

But UK carries on. Even wig bandwagon fans.

-He’s 37% from 3 on the season.
-41% overall.
-88% from the FT line.

He’s been on a cold streak the last couple games but 37% from deep is still considered good. I expect as we continue to play a more spread out lineup more of those looks will start to go and he will end the season around 38.5-39%

40%+ is elite. Since 1987 we’ve only had 12 guys shoot above 40% for a career. http://www.bigbluehistory.net/bb/Statistics/career3ptfieldgoalpercent.html

CJ had a couple of key shots today. That one where he faked out his man was huge.

Maybe Iowa played on 8 ft goals when he shot there…this guy is wide open and can’t hit a barn!!
Just my thought on it: Fredrick is a spot up shooter, not a 3 pt. scorer per se. But his presence still helps spread the floor, and he has to be on the floor. Fredrick has always been a role player hitting 1 or 2 3pt. shots a game. He needs to be pretty open and stationary (i.e., spot up shooter) rather than running off screens, step-backs, taking his man of the dribble, etc. (i.e., a 3pt. scorer).

Um, wasn’t his first made 3 a step back? At Iowa he hit a lot more than just spot up 3’s.

Guy’s wearing a splint on his shooting hand, but so many on here bashing his shooting.
