i was unaware Belichick was an assistant for the Giants while Hoss was there. I liked the article and thought I would share.

Belichick was the main reason why the NY Giants were elite.

Probably more that I forgot.
He was their LB coach until the mid 80's and then was the D.C.

ESPN had an article about how almost every single coach that is coaching right now can be traced back to Parcells and Belichick.


Don't know if it was Belichick or Wade Phillips that started the 3-4 defense in the NFL.
Both started their careers in late 70's early 80's.

Belichick has been running the same defense in the NFL for almost 40 years.

If Cleveland didn't hero worship Bernie Kosar he would still be in Cleveland.
He got away with it in NE by benching Bledsoe but when he benched and then released Kosar, Cleveland went crazy
