Yeah, because all the prayers from previous shootings and school violence has really done the trick!!!!

To each their own. My son gets sick all the time, has had close to 75 surgeries, and could've easily passed away more times than most parents should have to deal with in a lifetime. He wasn't supposed to make it past a year or two in life, and he just turned 28 this year.

Maybe my prayers mean nothing, because I know he's never gonna walk, or sleep without a ventilator at night, and he's def going to be sick again, and again, and the chances of a full life are pretty slim. In fact, most kids with his diagnosis (tho there's never really an identical set of diagnoses) have already passed away at a much earlier age.

I like to think my prayers DO mean something to the Big Man, and that it works for me, for us. I'll continue to pray and hope for things, for my family to heal when they're sick, and I will continue to pray for other people in the world when they go thru tragedies like this.

To each their own.

You dummies really don't realize the fact that gun-free zones are a magnet to those who would do evil to others. You listen to and swallow faithfully the rhetoric your leadership feeds you.

So many triggered gun nuts. Sad!

If your more upset about proposed gun safety measures than you are about people dying from gun deaths you're doing life wrong.

The proposed gun safety “measures” = greater shooting deaths. That’s the point. The gun free zones debacle has proven this. So has Chicago, Baltimore, Detroit, etc. The guns are scrutinized but not the people shooting them. Look at the language: gun deaths, gun control, gun safety. It’s always about the gun. But the gun is just an object. The people using the guns, the people actually doing the killing, are virtually ignored save maybe a passing reference to mental illness or criminal record. The solution lies with the shooters not the gun.

Law abiding citizens obey the measures you want. The killers don’t and never will.

I was in an area with hundreds of guns this morning...not one of them got off the table on their own and shot anyone. When people want to seriously start addressing the issues why people turn to violence then we might be able to move the dial. Until then violence will continue to happen.

What does it matter if murder is perpetrated by a gun or by other means? The problem is with the person not the gun. You anti gun idiots need to do a little critical thinking.
