We're still the same stupid, ****** team we've been all year. A bowl isn't going to change that. I'd rather hit the reset button, replace some coaches, and move on and try to put together a better team for next year.
Come on guys! We got one more heart wrenching, soul crushing loss in us! Now lets get out there and lose that bowl game in the last 30 seconds!
Head scratcher season, but man, I would NOT turn down a bowl bid. These seniors deserve it, even as a 5 win team. Especially the seniors on defense
I would not turn down a bowl invitation but I live in Vegas. People are awarded all kinds of stuff everyday here that they did not earn.

Yah - Bowl game should be earned IMO. We have earned a damned thing. If you give bowl bids to the 12th - 13th best team in your conference - what the hell does a Bowl game mean? Everyone’s going.

You think 15 extra practices are going to solve the issues of QBs dropping the ball, making bad passes? Cant bring a transfer in until January so these practices are useless in that regards.

If you meet the criteria to qualify for a bowl game, then you deserve it.
I’m not sure if there is a scenario where NU can reach a bowl, but I’d take it in a heartbeat. There is no way losing a bowl game will suck more than the past month did.

43 one score losses in the past 10 years. Each loss has its own insanely incompetent story. Just add this to the list. It’s one thing to just be awful and get soundly defeated each year (think Chicago cubs for decades). It’s another thing to be a Husker fan for 10 years knowing the program can’t just perform basic acts of coaching/football, which lead to gut wrenching losses over and over again.

Why wouldn't White leave after this year. Go where is D is appreciated and he wins some games. Satterfield is just like former OC Lubick. He is not going anywhere because no other college team will give him $1.5 million to run his inept offense.

Extra practices won't fix what we've been suffering with for 6 years in a row, turnovers and bad coaching decisions.
It’s ways to bring recruits to see your program at the bowl sites and it gives younger players more time to develop knowing the system especially after the first year..
Get the practices. Great. Doesn’t mean they deserve the opportunity. They pissed down their leg. Let’s just have 70 bowls and let every team go.

I don't give a **** about earned. They are bunch of meaningless, don't count for **** games. I do care that Rhule would get an extra 2 weeks of work with this group.
