Yep. He’s a good pitcher. He does not have overpowering stuff like Bednar but he’s a good pitcher and I expect him to battle. Plus he’s a senior and that adds motivation. I like the move. But with that said, you gotta have a short leash. We got the entire staff available except Bednar and Mac.

Realistic goal….he faces 13 batters. That gives Kavadas 2 left-on-left AB’s, and with some luck that will be 3 innings of work or close to it. Hopefully we pour on some runs early and get it to the rest of the pen with a lead. Innings 4-6 are going to be critical.
