Howland's first full class was rated the #6 class in the country, and that was who signed. And most of them came and played here too.

Stans and Howland both recruited at high levels, and as someone else said, got them here too.

There is a world of difference between those two recruiters and what Jans can do on the court. So glad to have him and be excited about hoops again.

We have some major boosters in basketball. We can really build the program if we can get everybody pulling in the same direction. By that, I basically mean our fans and students show up for games. And not just SEC games, in the non-conference too, one thing we have NEVER done in our history. Boosters can't do it all themselves.

If we don't change that, yeah, Jans will eventually leave. And he may anyway, Vic left us and we had become a title-caliber program. I don't know if Jans has a 'home' like Vic did though, so maybe we can be his home as long as we pay him and keep the NIL flowing.
