Apparently. McCray and Brooks bring recruiting. Ziegler more of an X&O guy.

Feel free to correct me if that's not the case.

Pretty sure McCray is a strong fundamentals guy too.

McCray has tutored Dwight Howard and John Wall (while they are in the NBA). I think he's OK at fundamentals. This is all surreal. For Howland to be able to go into a recruit's home and name drop one NBA player after another that he's placed into the league will be a HUGE advantage. With Brooks staying on, we should be able to get Darius Hicks back on board for '16. He's pissed as hell at RR getting canned (He had a strong relationship with RR since he was a sophomore) and has re-opened his recruiting back up. Brooks was Hicks' lead recruiter.

I think I saw somewhere the other day that we would not pursue Hicks anymore. Probably wrong about that.

Think Hicks decommitted shortly after the Ray dismissal was announced. 24/7 site should have the date in his timeline. Don't have any inside info but think that '15 recruiting has priority over '16 .. to get this coming year sorted out before even thinking about next year.

Hicks was interviewed on one of the Jackson stations last night. He won some type of award at a non-senior all star game yesterday.

Said he de-comitted because his relationship was with Ray. Didn't know the new coaches and hadn't heard from the yet.
