Very interesting article in OWH about Scheierman entering his name in the transfer portal, alongside his earlier entry into the NBA draft. The article of course recites the long list of college basketball royalty that have already reached out to him, but he also specifically says he's always wanted to play "in-state." I'm sure Hoiberg's odds of getting him in a Nebraska uniform are about .00000000001% but I sure hope he's really trying. It would be so fun to watch him play with Griesel, although I suppose the fact that Griesel is here is one impediment to actually getting him. Anyway, I just really like this kid's game.

Probably much more likely to go to Creighton.

Saw he grew up a KU fan. Who knows.

Kentucky is very interested but they just got a commitment from Antonio Reeves

So he signs with Creighton.

I'm as surprised at this as I am when I find out the husband killed his wife on Dateline, after two hours of filler.

Hoiberg’s chances to recruit talented kids to Nebraska are over. His contract should have allowed Nebraska to fire him for failure to perform (Frosts contract as well) .

Recruiting? It will be interesting to see how the media talks about coaches going forward. I predict they will talk the same crap...praise any coach who wins...and barely mention the bribes and unfairness and ridiculousness.

Whoa, you mean you’re predicting that TV talking heads will continue to kiss the power coaches’ butts?

Red-hot take right there, Goober.
