Rough night for Rippey. Stokes only 2 boards. Should've had a few assists, thought he made some nice passes and played really unselfish. If (IF) we get him we need to make it a priority to put some shooters around him so he can play to his strengths. One of the reasons I wasn't a fan of the Zoom Diallo/Dedan Thomas shared backcourt pitch that Pope supposedly gave. It sounds so stupid I wonder if JDrum heard wrong. But Pope thinks he's the smartest guy in the room apparently so maybe it's something he dreamt up that he thought would work.

Cal got a good one with Toure. He looks like a mini-Adou Thiero.

YouTube is free and has all his high school games. Go watch and thank me later. The kid is the real deal and yes he’s the best player in the class. Smith Jr is the only one close to his overall talent. The guys an absolute monster when he’s leading a team and trying to win. He’s a great offensive player but his defense may be better. He’s been too unselfish in these games I believe but it doesn’t mean anything really.

Yes but you’ll need to be smart with who you pair him with. Will need shooters at the 1, 2, and 4 to keep the floor spaced enough for him. Not exactly a consistent effort defender and rebounder either so you need some junk yard dogs with him too.

Im not sure how many defenders will be able to check him 1 on 1 from getting into the paint. They’ll probably sag and take their chances with him shooting

He is the big dog of the big dogs. When he’s trying hard he’s the best defensive player in high school and rebounds at will. Amazing player at his age. I didn’t get to watch the game yet but I have all of his high school games and he’s just dominating everyone every game.

To be fair many of the kids turned it over. It was a turnover heavy game on both sides. Sadler was damn impressive outside of that.
