Never got a thread shout out before! I don't know, maybe Show called me out one time....not sure, 12 years on this board is a long time.
Yeah in the offseason I usually slow down with the posting but look every few days. I can't believe I didn't see this thread. Hell I've gone 8 or 9 months without posting but ALWAYS lurking,I am never leaving. I will be here till I die, which I hope is at least 40 more years
As long as there is a Duke Rivals board I will be there.

What part of S.C. did you say you are in? I grew up in Anderson.....actually Starr, right outside of Andedson
Ah, Anderson. My girlfriend is from that area. Been through there a few times. Her family are IPTAY people. I can usually get tickets to pretty much any Clemson event through them. I am thinking of going to the Duke Football game in November but it is such hell getting in and out of Clemson on game day that I don't know if I have the patience to. I love going to games in Death Valley but damn it's an all day event getting in, seeing the game and then getting out....ugh!
I am from Gaffney, live in the Spartanburg area now. Not like it's the other side of the world. Gaffney is a ******** but it's where I am from. At least we have that lame *** peachoid, which looks like a big *** hanging off of the side of 85.
Buddy asked me to go the Furman game with him and I told him if I'm not going to the Duke game I'm sure as hell not going to spend all day in traffic to see Furman Duke is still in the air though. I know they are going to get drilled but would love to see them play. I wish I could beam in and out like Star Trek.

Traffic is the main reason I don't go to games or concerts. I went to see Def Leppard a couple weeks ago. Only 1 hour away but took me almost 2 1/2 to get there. I almost turned around and went home.

Feel like he is underestimated by all the "journalists" out there along with people on this board. Just a few months ago, he was the consensus #2 player in the country. Sure, there are some concerns about his motor and occasionally being lazy on D. But, I think he is gonna have a massive season and live up to that consensus #2 ranking.
On offense, he should be Brandon Ingram 2.0...however he should score even easier than Ingram due to much more superior talent around him than what Ingram had.

We've been big underdogs going up there before and came away with the upset. Looking for both the Devils and the 'Cocks to prevail.
I really don't have anything against Clemson and a lot of my people are Clemson folk but I have always favored the Gamecocks as far as being a S.C native. I like the fact that Spurrier was the Duke coach at one time and brought the football program to a respectable place. I enjoyed his time in Columbia as well, he was great for our state and I will always appreciate that. Like him or hate him, dude could flat out coach and had an old school personality that won't be replicated.

My Mom and my Grandmother worked in those cotton mills a cobined 85 years. I come from humble a humble background to say the least.
I have to admit I am pround of the Gaffney Football tradition. One of the best programs in S.C history. I spent many a Friday night at W.K. Brumbach Stadium rooting for the Indians. After I got in high school I just went for the chicks
I think there's a better chance they go undefeated than lose to S.C. At home. But like you said, it has happened before. I would be completely SHOCKED if it happens this year. I don't have any hatred toward the gamecocks though. Not like ky hates Louisville, or unc hates us. I actually like to see them do well. Just not against Clemson.

Nice! The Gaffeny folk love their Football for sure, the traditions run deep. I myself haven't been to a game in years. I think the last game I saw Sidney Rice was a Senior.
