Last question @WVU86 ....why are we never given co-morbidity statistics on who actually dies strictly because of Covid, or Covid related complications due to existing prior conditions? Why is Covid only listed as the cause of death when there are/were mitigating factors that compromised the health of someone who became infected?

Not taking the vaccine. What @WVU86 laid out ITT concerning how it (vaccine) operates happens anyway with a well fed healthy immune system. No one dies from their own immune system developing anti-bodies from a viral infection. Not sure if this vaccine caused the good Doctor's death, but I'm not taking it when my immune system does on its own what the vaccine encourages it to do anyway.

No Thanks.

atlkvb, that question is much better answered by an epidemiologist. All I can do is share is what the CDC says are their rules for this. At the end of the day though, if you have chronic conditions that are otherwise under control and you get sick with a new disease state, the new disease state is what is usually going to be listed as the causative reason for your death, using the qualifying words like "probable" or "presumed". I don't think it's the conspiracy that some have made this out to be. If you have diabetes, congestive heart failure, and COPD and you catch community acquired pneumonia (CAP) and die, then CAP is what is probably going to be listed as your cause of death.

My mother who is in her 80's took the vaccine earlier this week. So far she isn't complaining about any side affects, and I check her daily to see if she's started growing antlers or something.........she's still got to have the follow up booster.

Here in WV it's being given to the most elderly first. When it gets down to my age group I'm leaning toward going for it myself, but that may be a while. In the meantime I will just continue taking all the precautions like I've been doing since this BS started.

I'm not disputing that, however we're told Covid is the killer in virtually all of the cases where there were obviously mitigating conditions. I'm wondering why we're never told what were the other complications or health factors contributing to a person's death who became infected (co-morbidity)? Is Covid alone ever the sole reason of death, or only in those cases where there were existing conditions which Covid aggravated but was still listed as the cause of the fatality?

I don't think that's quite true. For instance I've often heard of folks who die of "congestive heart failure due to complications from pneumonia". I never hear of a person dying of heart disease due to complications from Covid.

It's always "Covid" alone listed as the reason of death.

Best I can do.

You've been very informative and I appreciate it. I have so many more questions, but it's not fair to the other posters. You've been deluxe though. [thumbsup]

The video explains that. Listing cause of death is outside my pay grade. I'm not a physician or a coder.

So have you sold any Mustang Mach Es? What's the latest on the Bronco?

We are waiting on our "allotment" from Ford. Contrary to popular opinion, Dealerships don't have their pick and choice on what they can buy from the factory. They can place orders, but priority goes to those who have a longer track record selling what they actually order. There is a long wait list for the Mach Pony. We probably won't receive our first shipments until mid '21, if then. Broncos are being well received. We just got three in last week...one was a "demo" for test drives, the other two were already sold.

That vehicle may take a hit with an increase in fuel prices or a corresponding decrease in petroleum supplies...it's primarily for off road purposes and those buyers are very fuel conscious consumers since it does represent true recreational use instead of necessary day-to-day commuting.

do any of you have misgivings about taking the vaccine. Wife and I got a letter yesterday...we run a food pantry and have been bumped up on the list to receive it.....I take the flu shot every year but I'm unsure about this one since it's so new

My wife received her second shot last Tuesday. No physical side effects besides a really nasty bruise.
