There is no way the B1G officials were letting Rutgers win this game. They want 2 number 1 seeds in the tournament. I am not surprised about how Rutgers rarely went to the free throw line and how Ilini were there all the time. That technical on Paul was complete bull đź’©. Ayo was yelling short and PM probably said short my "donkey".

I agree. Play this game 10 times, there’d be a significant foul discrepancy every time. We would’ve needed to play lights out to overcome.

Illinois would be a #1 even with a loss here, they have 10 Q1 wins, 3 more than any top 10 NET teams. The first match at home RU 91-88, Illinois 26 fouls Rutgers 17 fouls, RU 25-36 FT to Illinois 11-15. Had a feeling the makeup was coming. Pfiefer reffed that one too.

yes, we lose this game 7 out of 10..
yes, Illinois is a great team... that's why they are #4 IN THE COUNTRY

but, you just want a fair shot........ and we have seen ALL SEASON - you take Myles out in the first 5 mins. and give a bunch of weak +1's and we don't have a shot..

Meh... Bama wins or Houston wins their tourney. Ilini's 1 seeds is in jeopardy. Well, Caleb just got ejected and this game is no longer interesting to watch.

Mulcahy got slapped on the wrist and yelled AND ONE so they gave Paul a T....Now we have 9 fouls on our big men and Coburn has ONE.....will be interesting to see how the refs call it if he plays Lurch

Illinois(21-6) Q1 11-5 Q2 5-1 Q3 3-0 Q4 2-0
Houston(21-3) Q1 2-1 Q2 5-1 Q3 9-1 Q4 5-0, has 0% chance at a 1 or 2 seed
The AAC has no other team in the top 50.
Alabama(22-6) Q1 6-4 Q2 8-1 Q3 8-1 Q4 0-0

Alabama could beat Tenn and winner of LSU/Ole Miss/Arkansas, Illinois lose to Iowa tom, and they still have no chance at a 1 seed at 8-4 8-1 vs 11-6 5-1.

Kelly Pfeifer is a POS. With that said, he wasn't the problem tonight. It was the other white official, He absolutely sucked! And the other official under the basket is a total a$$hole. He has officiated our games three times and he blows the whistle if we breathe on the other guy. Yet, we could get hammered on the other end, and he refrains from blowing the whistle.
