56-14. Only three teams have ever won 3 games in a row in Lincoln. Oklahoma, Texas and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

I imagine the list of teams that have won three in a row in Iowa City is much larger. Nebraska has done it twice on their own.

Your figures are off if you take the start of WW2 in 1941 it's NU 10 Iowa 9 if you go from the end in 1945 it's NU 9 Iowa 7

I remember when Bill Callahan was going to bring his NFL experience and 5 star recruits and Nebraska was going to get better and then you guys routinely got mercy ruled. Then Husker fans said the same about Pelini and you got routinely got mercy ruled.
But sure. Frost and his defensive staff that's given up a thousand yards of offense in his last two games is going to coach up a bunch of guys who've given up a thousand yards of offense in the last two games and it'll be 1995 all over again.

Pelini owned Iowa and was a mediocre coach (great by Iowa standards) just imagine the hurt Frost will put on Iowa. But you’ll still get your six wins, so all is good.

It's comical you put yourself up there with Texas and OU, they beat us when we were up while you Iowa beat us at our lowest point in history. Congrats on you tumultuous feat. You owe Coach Riley a reach around for making that possible.

Well, Solich teams beat Iowa 42-7 and 42-13, so there is that.
We combined for 4-19 in those two seasons. It doesn't count if your team's bad, if we're playing by Nebraska fans' rules.

No one. Kirk inherited a bare cupboard, got it going in year 3, and he's since won three COY awards, two conference championships and one BCS game. I'm happy with him.

We return a lot of players that are better than anyone on Nebraska's roster. Maybe Honas will help, but where are the other 10 actual Big Ten football players going to come from on defense? See you in Kinnick next November.
