FYI the clock is stopped by a microphone located on the referee’s whistle. The system actually tracts which of the three referees started and stoped the clock each time.

I noticed in real time that it seemed like it started slightly late, but if it's the ref that's controlling it, it's in neutral hands. I'm glad that the slight break went our way for once and a bit of a prayer of a shot fell.

I knew about the whistle stopping the clock but had no idea that the refs controlled the starting of the clock. Fascinating. Courtney whatever his name is made about 40 calls against us but I’ll give him credit for an emphatic good call after Harper’s shot went down.
