I'm not anonymous at all. Everybody knows who I am. Let's see who you are. You talk all tough and act like you have some kind of knowledge about the sport and question what I have to say.Let's see who you are as a person. I have nothing to hide. You say you grew up with all these Rutgers Wrestlers and know Goodale personally, then you should be a highly respected person in the wrestling community and not ashamed to tell us who you are. As far as I'm concerned, you're just another big mouth, *******,coward who talks ****, because its easy to pull your balls out of your hairpie when it's "hide behind my computer time."
There’s no way there’s a 60 year old man behind this account. This is obviously a child posing as an adult. “Balls out of your hairpie” is something I would hear on a playground from a little boy squabbling over a missed call in kick ball.
This wrestler is not a log jam wrestler. The other two are. he is one of their best guys. Really don't want to beat a Dead Horse here, but he's definitely coming here. And the other two are gonna follow. Doubt me, criticize me.But the fact remains is I am one hundred percent being honest with you that we are going to have potentially three penn state top flight wrestlers and one iowa stud.
when?

Yes, you would think kids that competitive wouldn't be satisfied with a backup or second backup role. They can stay and continue to benefit from the coaching and training, but what for? I don't think it's good for college wrestling for one team to have so many guys in reserve when they could be starting elsewhere and contributing to a more competitive field.

I haven't been following Bassett's list since he took a break from eliminations, but now I see he is down to 11 schools. He still has all the usual picks on his list, with just four falling outside those seven. Pitt-Johnston and Rutgers will be next if he continues on that path, followed by Arizona State and Va. Tech. If he keeps Rutgers, we will continue to scratch our heads with great anticipation. If, by some miracle, he chooses Rutgers and, in the best possible scenario, attracts Jax and maybe Melvin to follow, that will be something.
I said it a long time ago, Rutgers will be on Bassett's final five and would not shock me if RU is in the final 2 or 3. RU is in play for him. Willie Saylor tweeted about one month ago that RU is a serious contender. Hey I would still be surprised if he came here, but RU is in the mix!

My post was following logic without any inside information. Exceptions can always occur. Coming in as his second choice may make some feel good, but it has the same result as coming in last. Close doesn't win a cigar. I hope Goodale goes all out with him. The investment could pay dividends not just with tournament points but possibly in who else comes.

Agree, some recent big time recruits had RU on their final list but were really not ever coming here. Bassett is different, RU has made them a creative offer and I really think Rutgers is a serious contender. Time will tell.

After watching the RU vs VA Tech dual, I can't imagine why anyone of quality would consider going to Rutgers to compete. Outside of Shawver and one scramble by the HWT, that was an awful performance. They are just simply not very good and not getting any better. Someone there should call up the modern day Sopranos to get mega NIL money for kids because I truly believe a wrestler with a brain would be better off attending about 25 other D1 programs in order to have a better chance at success. With some of the tough kids who come from New Jersey, it's mystifying how that program struggles to even get into the top 10 in the BIG 10.
Cool, thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. Just a friendly reminder, drugs are bad for you.

Pretty funny video and good to see they have a sense of humor about it (although they have the most current laugh because he is there). I wonder what Kolodzik thinks of the video. Probably a chuckle but he had his *** handed to him as the #1 that day. I have a signed picture of AA holding up the 10 fingers at the Princeton bench.

When all else fails and you can't win an argument.Let's use the homosexual angle. I don't think anybody on here has ever used this as a rebutted tactic. Is there something you need to tell us about yourself?

I agree. If this dude wants to prance in the pixie forest, do up downs in a eggplant garden, deep knee bends in a cucumber patch, the horizontal mambo in a dumpster full of bratwurst, ride down a bumpy hill without a bike seat, sit on top of a gas powered pogo stick, play quarterback with a pantless center, hand cuff his wrists to his ankles in a prison shower, and naturally fill cream donuts...that's on him and I support his transition🙂

Oliveri Dec Shawver 10-7
Harer tf weaver 22-4 2nd period
Dean 15-2 Wehner
Soldano 15-3 packer
Ford 1-0 freeman
Much appreciated, thank you. Only one weight class apart, I'm surprised that Olivieri handled Shawver. I'm surprised also that he scored that many points. Peterson needs to wrestle like that in matches. Packer/Casale will be more interesting. Soldano/Walsh, too.

I wouldn't read too much into an in the room match btwn Shawver and Olivieri. We don't know what the weight difference was btwn the two at the time and coaches may have asked them to both focus on offense.

That's good because neither one of them are the guys that are leaving.
The number of wrestlers on the Iowa roster who are Suriano level is rather limited. Ayala is the only one with a finals appearance and therefore the only one currently tracking a path anywhere near Suriano's level, and he isn't coming to Rutgers!

I just love tuning these pea brains up with my ridiculous mouth and antics. But, with that said, I am dead serious when I tell you that I'm telling you the truth that 1, possibly 3 are jumping ship from Penn State, and 1 from Iowa. They are just playing the "oh its not me game" and then they are done.

Confused on why this is a story? Of course there will be guys leaving Programs after season everywhere and especially a team that has backups that would Win Conference Titles in other Conferences or be a Starter in Conference and wrestle in NCAA Tournament... There are only 10 starting spots...If someone was leaving after This semester to jump on another school then that would be News...Like NC State Ranked 285lber who will wrestle for Lehigh starting in January

It's tough for an undergrad to transfer at semester. Most times not all the classes transfer and guys end up with progress towards degree issues. Doing it after the semester makes more sense so you can take summer classes to make up the credits if they lose any. I'm just talking about transfers in general not the ones that are gonna make people **** a LB of pickles 🤷. I haven't heard about anyone transferring and I will believe it when I see it .
I know the progress to degree issues. I have a member of the family who was an EIWA wrestler at an academically challenging institution (recently).

I'm hard-pressed to see how this would come into play with a kid in his 1st or 2nd year in school. It's a really low bar. And that is not even taking into account that this is a PSU (or Iowa) to RU transfer - something I also have experience with - which is probably the best-case scenario for credit transfer.

It's really unlikely that this would come into play. Again, the OP may have heard something, or something may be in the air, but if it were anywhere near a certainty, there is no way they wouldn't be attempting to make the transfer now instead of at the end of the year.

You are a bright one...it's 12:28 pm in Colorado, dummy. Not only are you a bad detective, you are stupid too.Like I told you yesterday.Dont respond if you don't like what I have to say or don't believe me.Just block me.It will make you feel safe and you stick arguing with people on your intelligence level.
Best part of this post was that it was actually 1:28 Colorado time b/c Colorado is 2 hours behind NJ, not three.

I heard there was some real insanity on this board so I had to come over here and see. Yeah …. you folks got some loony tunes playing here. Sure enough PSU has got a few log jams, but, gotta say with humility, . . why would anybody leave State College for New Brunswick. There’s just not much to attract! I’ll show myself to the door.

I wrote undergrad but what I really meant was upperclassmen. Years 3 and 4 are a little more difficult once you start classes towards your major. I remember when Zack was at Binghamton.
