Fun fact of the day.... closest C2 football team to Gordon-Rushville that is not in their district is Battle Creek. This trip they are making for the Holiday Tourney in Bball will be one of several they make in the next year. Their non-district football games will probably be the NE corner of the state (outside of C1 and out of state on district games)

In the 90s the Great NE Nebraska Shootout was the premier tourney for class C. The last few years I feel the Shootout on the Elkhorn just a few miles south in Wisner is they place to be to watch some great action. Maybe not the best in the state but surely the best in the area.
