We have been bad for 10 years. If is logical to assume the trend will continue. Name one change, relative to the last 10 years that would suddenly make us good.
Hiring a proven O-Line coach that has developed multiple players into 1st/2nd team all conference and possibly All American players. That change should be #1 on the list.

Cruel, I've done the impossible for you, thanks to On3's moronic board conversion from Rivals. When I liked your post earlier this morning, I had gotten demoted (again) to Anonymous*****. I just experimented and liked it again, but this time it showed my screen name. One person, two likes, same post.

It's science and stuff.
I searched for posts I made recently and they're gone. My profile shows ne as a Freshman but I've been on the sites since 2003. The conversion is a bit FUBAR and I lost my cred.

I disagree that he hasn't developed well. I think his backs have generally gotten better under him. Emmitt has gotten a lot better. Go back and watch the big kid from Oregon in the spring game two years ago and then watch how he looked last year. He definitely improved under EJ. I can't speak for Nelson yet but everything I've heard from those who have seen him is that he's improved a ton.

I don't think it's that he's not developing guys. I think it's more that the guys that he's had doesn't or haven't had the highest ceilings. Cant get blood from a turnip i guess. But it is in him to recruit those guys. So that's on him.

Wasn’t everyone jacked about Jamarion Parker? If I remember correctly, Barthel recruited him. I believe he brought in Dowdell as well. Parker got hurt early and will likely now redshirt. Dowdell was highly rated out of HS but didn’t get to play much at Oregon. He was most definitely a much better RB when he left than when he came. He was good enough last year that another P4 program wanted him bad enough to offer more money than we were willing to offer. I think Holgerson has a hand in RB recruiting as well. He knows what he wants for his scheme.

Virtually every college and pro offense runs those plays. The biggest problem for us is probably having Bonner be the guy toting it.
I agree. Just saying it was pretty predictable. We seem to go to him often when in goal to go situations. Much more often than he touches it on the rest of the field
