We're making free throws. We may improve to 349th in the nation in that keeps up. How did we ever beat any team in the Big Ten this year?

That Jan. 7 win may cost Iowa a spot or two in the seedings for the Tourney. That must have been really embarrassing for them to lose to this roster, or at least the players available from this roster.

Still, I thought we could stay within 30 today. I mean, we lost to UC-Riverside by only 19. I guess that means Iowa is just that much better than Riverside.

So...Iowa 5 points better than Riverside.

Judgement Day as planned!

Were you this dramatic as a child? You won your 3rd game in 7 tries.

I bet you were on a low sugar diet, right? No one likes a drama queen kid on a sugar high..

"Hurry up, mom!! If I don't make my recital, I'm going to be moved down from 1st chair clarinet down to 2nd chair!! Mom, I just can't be 2nd chair!! I just can't!! I can't!! They'll rescind my clarinet scholarship!!"

Meanwhile, Donovan Williams put up 50 points tonight against #1 Bellevue West, after putting up 44 last night. We could have used that scoring next year. Chucky Hepburn put up 27. Fred letting good talent leave the state. Hunter Sallis will be next.

If Sallis leaves it won’t be because Hoiberg let him.

Highly doubtful that Williams would have been getting meaningful minutes next year.

Are you this stupid? I can tell by the way you post that you never played sports. You are as big as ***** as Hayden Fry was re playing Nebraska.
LOL I don't know if you can call Fry a ***** for going 1-3 against Nebraska. It was Fry's first four years at Iowa and he had a 24-21 loss year one, blowout loss in year two then beat a #7 Husker team in year three. Two close games against against an Iowa team that had been a Perennial loser before Fry against a top ten team says as much about Osborne as it does about Fry. LOL Nebraska was ranked top ten all four of those years.

Sure snuffaluffagus, and what has Io_a ever done with ANY win over a top 10 team? Nothin, zip, zilch. Says more about your entire loser history than anything.

LOL, fair enough, it's your forum and your response is a typical Husker response. However, this is the problem with Cornhusker football these days, your still living in the Osborne days and the rest of college football fan are living in the next century. ;) You've become blood brothers with Minnesota with two less national championships. Have a nice weekend. :)

Blue blood....LMAO You know, Army and Minnesota were once blue blood's too. LOL. They fell from the blue blood ranks and have accepted it, but some of you people continue to be the Pathetic fans sitting in the bar singing Glory days.....LOL Not all of you, their are some decent Husker fans, but the predictable ones who have to trash anyone who doesn't instantly become enamored by what your school did a quarter of a century ago. Why don't we talk about what your school has done THIS CENTURY, shall we? Oh wait, you can't because they haven't done squat and your minds are stuck in the 20th century. You know, the Romans and Ancient Egyptians were great once. And when you want to brag about your past, realize your glory only spans what, 27 years? 1970-1997, and in those glory years, your 7th ranked Huskers lost to a ***** named Hayden Fry and his band of perennial losers. LOL

Do you Iowa fans have this exact post copied and pasted, and ready to go at all times? Envy is a tough thing to admit, I get it.

Just incase you come back today.. Hayden Fry was the one with the quote after the 1982 game... “ We have Nebraska right where we want them, off our schedule”..

He no longer wanted to continue the rivalry during his career at Iowa..

Hmmmmm...902 wins in 27 years. Who knew we had won 33 1/2 games per each of those seasons. And YOU thought we weren't impressive..

I thought so too a few months ago. But do we have anyone on our roster that has scored 50 and 44 points in a high school game? Teddy Allen probably came close, but played against Class C competition. Williams is Teddy Allen without the baggage. He's really improved his shooting and looks like he could contribute as a freshman, wherever he goes.

I’m not knocking Donovan at all...and we will see how the roster shakes out but I just don’t see him coming in and getting minutes over Mack, Thor, Stevenson, Banton, Teddy, and even Burke. I’ve heard really good things about Banton.

Yes. Jervay Green put up 64 in a high school game and had a few 50+ games in junior college. I haven't seen Williams play, so I have no opinion on whether he's a Big Ten caliber player. But I wouldn't conclude that he is based on a couple of big point totals in high school.

You must be stupid like most Hawk fans. Only 27 years??? Sober up you dumb drunk. You would do anything to have Nebraska’s titles and history. Don’t be mad that NU is way more important to the National Eye than Iowa ever will be. Only reason this series is even close is because of Riley. You couldn’t handle Tom, Frank or Bo. You are lucky to have the two wins vs Frost!!

Imagine being an adult Iowa fan and spending your time on a Nebraska board during an Iowa game. Surprisingly we see a lot of pathetic men like that on here.

get off the Nebraska board and spend some time with your family, my guy.

judgement day was jan 7.

tonight doesn’t erase that loss, just like it doesn’t mask the 104 hung on you earlier in the week.

don’t kiss your wife goodnight, might not like the taste I left in her mouth ;)

Too bad you won’t stick around long enough in the B1G tournament for us to ***** slap Freddy & Co again. Up next we pound you again in baseball.
