Forcing Hoiberg out (with no buyout) would actually HELP Nebraska. And postseason bans are irrelevant. The only adequate punishment would be loss of scholarships and limits placed on recruiting.
Right. The only way to really punish Nebraska would be to hamstring the next coach. Force them to use an interim coach for a couple years while they're on probation.
So Matt/some booster paid Bryce before the NIL rules went into effect? I don't see the big deal there.
This could mean there is no investigation *yet*. Doesn't mean there won't be in the future, if there's a story coming out later this week. Hopefully it was just a dumb rumor, but there seems to be a lot of smoke about a story coming, and Matt's leave of absence is suspicious.
Imo if Matt's leave has something to do with said rumors. I don't think Trev words his response the way he did.
