He's apparently a Husker beat writer. Rumors of this have been flying around both Nebraska and Creighton rivals/247 boards supposedly.
Should be interesting. He had a Top 20 recruiting class last year and this year’s is currently in the 30-35 range and includes the Lawrence kid from Roselle Catholic.
is their even such a thing as recruiting violations in this day and age

Yes, as an excuse for teams to get rid of underperforming coaches.
Something is definitely going on and it probably isn’t good for NU. Abdelmassih suddenly took a leave from the team for health reasons when he had just been on the bench during a game the night before and was fine.
Hoiberg gave him full control of recruiting and was basically just the closer on kids. He helped identify who they targeted and then came I. In the end. Most think any violations that occurred Hoiberg was probably unaware of but you never know.
Everything has gone radio silent inside the Hendricks practice facility including no press conferences.
I would say something is gonna come of this. The 2047 class will loose a scholarship the way the ncaa works.
