It's pathetic how bitter they are towards Monk. To be that eaten up with where a kid decides to go to college is just beyond sad. I'd be fine with them hoping to shut him down, but they take shots at his character like he somehow owed them something.

Yea getting beat by 26 is really something to brag about, Kentucky didn't even need Monk last night and they still lose by double figures. Moral victories are only to make losers feel good.

The whole Arkansas basketball family are little bitches but they are a lock at this moment to make the dance so they won't be having any NIT this season. I will at least give them that. But they were like 5-6 seed 2 weeks ago and now are going to be 9-10 with this poor SEC start still they are one of the top 4 teams in the league and one of 2 teams IMO who could beat us if we went to their place ( though we don't) .

Monk has the ability to never be ice cold but he won't use it. Cal gets on him all the time about driving to the rim and the one time h did it h got fouled when it looked like he was going to try to bang on the team. Instead he either shoots the three or takes a couple dribbles and pulls up for a jumper. Now granted he is very good at that but at times (Ark/UL) he will be defended well or will be off and those are the times he needs to start driving to the rim.

Not only will that hbe lol the team and his game but it will help his draft stock even more as well, scouts have said if he can get to the rim more he will boost his stock by two more draft slots

I am glad they found something to enjoy from a total butt kicking. Their coach and team are classless jerks.

I wonder if an Arkansas couple gets a divorce are they still brother and sister?

"I know this is going to sound petty, but I don't care. I did NOT like the fact that Anderson grabbed Malik Monk by that back of the head and whispered 'sweet nothings' in his ear in the post game hand shake. Mike, that guy looked at you, your team, our program and said, "screw you, I'm going to Kentucky"...to me this is a slap in the face to all the great Razorbacks who came from inside Arkansas, particularly Moncrief, Delph and Brewer. They could have went anywhere in the country but they chose home. One day this boy is going to learn after he realizes he's not going to get the second contract (where NBA players traditionally make their big money) that he's going to have to move back to Arkansas to help ma and paw with the few hundred thousand he has left after he blows most of it on expensive cars, gold-digging women and jewelry that depreciates 50% once you walk out the door with it on. A decade from now #5 will be hanging out on the porch at Lepanto remembering the good ol' days when, despite his looks, the women loved him, the men wanted to be like him and life was good. If I pass on before now and that time, please remember who told you so. It's as inevitable as the Sun rising in the West. Malik will not make it as a shooting guard in the NBA, he has trouble getting a good look at 6'3" with a hand in his face and if you can't shoot in the NBA and won't play defense, you won't be there long. Good luck #5 in BLUE, you are going to need all you can muster."

Hey now! Not all Arkansas natives marry their sisters and go barefoot lol. Us UK fans living here have shoes and marry hotties! Just like our recruiting, we eat first.

almost exactly what I was going to say.
Maybe they're just looking at the box score, but I (and pretty much everyone here) watched the game. Monk did what he almost always does - he gets open, blows by defenders, does his thing. As you said, he was ice cold last night. It happens, but it wasn't anything Arky did to "contain" him.
Bless their little hearts.

Bingo. I really, REALLY want to see him stop settling for threes and long jumpers. He could do so much more damage if he expands his offensive options. When he's on, it's beautiful, a la UNC***. But when he's off, we could really benefit from his penetration.

I thought that Monk stopped Monk. I think that in the back of his mind, he felt guilty about not going to Arkansas, and he just did not play aggressively. Kind of like not wanting to score 30 on them and rub salt in the wound. Probably wrong, but that is just how I perceived it.
