Would surely be a home run hire - he's an NU alum AND FROM SOUTH DAKOTA!!!

How funny is he on Twitter?

The Polish Rifle. Used to see him at Clipper games. Pretty good team when Lamar was younger. Made the playoffs once I think.

I have a crazy hope that Dwayne Wade will coach Nebraska basketball after he retires. All the high profile recruits would want to play for him here

Wouldn't that be something? He's a great guy too.

Lots of work though for someone already worth $100mil+

If you love basketball and want to stick with it, coaching is the way to go!
He has seen the facilities here. We are in the B1G. We have the fan support.

Nebraska is a sleeping giant and if somebody like him came in to coach we could easily get some top rated recruits in here and start competing.

Who knows if he could coach...but you know we'd get all the media exposure and have some talent here

Not a prospect that thrills me but I'm biased. I know his first high school coach and while the guy is too much of a gentleman to complain, let's just say coaching this guy -- and dealing with his dad who also played in the NBA -- were probably not career highlights. Of course that was ages ago, people change and I don't personally know the guy.

He is the only one who "gets" and "understands" Nebraska basketball. Until then nobody can possibly win here. Get it done Moos.

If we're looking to a link to the early 90s, Bruce Chubick from Omaha South. He can't be any older than Riley or Moos and he's won championships in both Class A and Class C. That's basically the basketball equivalent of a couple of CFL Grey Cups.

It's his Dad, not the guy who played here. My personal pick would be Terrance Badgett. That guy never took crap from anybody!

If Eric P became the next Husker men’s basketball coach his son Jace (a junior at elkhorn south this fall who should make his first start for the storm on opening night) could walk on at Nebraska giving elkhorn south three current walk on players on the roster ....... when has that ever happened at any program ?

FYI i could see the dad Walt being a handful back in the day (if i remember right Eric after all did transfer from scottsbluff to rapid city due to some dissatisfaction w the scottsbluff coaching and walt subsequently took a new Job in rapid) but my experience w him as a fan of high school basketball has been nothing but great. He’s pretty quiet in the stands as is Eric though Eric gets on his son a lot

It' ok though, Osborne hired this coach.
To be fair, NU has been a coaching graveyard and Miles's resume as a program builder reaching the NCAA tourney was pretty attractive. The only other options were mostly disgraced alcoholics. Miles has this year to prove he was a good hire.

Laughing You’ve been perpetually triggered for over a year now.
Nah. All I am doing is repeating the message. For some reason when I do it, it triggers the sniveling section of the fanbase. Congrats.
