I keep seeing post indicating that we should have just paid up and gotten a proven head coach. You have hindsight on your side so this should be easy.

Who should we have hired and what makes you think he would’ve come to MSU?

ETA: this is not a poor old MSU post, I’m not assuming we couldn’t have, but it certainly is t easy no matter who you are

You can't possibly think that if you got the OC from Penn State you didn't have other decent options. At the time, it looked like a good hire. It's not working out. Cut bait.
