You think they are horrible now...wait until their coach "retires" and they start over with a new coach and a real system. It will be epically bad.

Iowa is getting back its comfort-zone schedule next year, with only four games against teams with winning records in 2022, and only one of those games on the road:
  • Utah State (6-6)
  • @ Iowa State (4-8)
  • Western Michigan (5-7)
  • @ Penn State (10-2)
  • Michigan State (5-7)
  • Purdue (8-4)
  • @ Wisconsin (6-6)
  • Minnesota (8-4)
  • @ Northwestern (1-11)
  • Rutgers (4-8)
  • Illinois (8-4)
  • @ Nebraska (4-8)
Get ready for another #fakeid season in IC. Don't be surprised if they're 10-1 or 9-2 coming to Lincoln.

Their 2024 schedule is even easier. Meanwhile we have Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State in consecutive weeks They sure take care of the original teams in this conference.

When did they release the 2024 conference schedule?

They’ve seriously fallen back to the pack. I predict 5-6 or 6-5 coming to Lincoln.

But but but...WE HAVE to play ISU!

Good lord, that schedule would make Glenn Mason blush.

I dunno. Just did a search and saw it on Iowa Rivals.
That's an old page or not updated. All conference schedules for 2024 were erased after UCLA and USC announced they were joining the conference.

Early indicators, however, show that Nebraska will be playing OSU, PSU, Michigan and USC on consecutive weeks while Iowa is playing Rutgers, Northwestern, Indiana and Standing Bear High School.

Makes sense. Regardless it is pathetic how different they treat us and Iowa when it comes to scheduling. Them re-doing it just means they get.to stick it to us twice. 😁

Sounds right.

How unbalanced are the schedules? I think I saw that Purdue has only played Michigan once in the past 10 years.
2017 was the last, 2012 and 2011.. But 2011 and 2012 were because of both playing in Legends division.

So in reality as many times as Io_ay has played Ohio St during this duration.
