So that means they just downright cheated then. Not even trying to hide it. That's probably been a 2 foul shot since the game was invented. . . .
I know people say "what's the big deal, the game could have gone either way" etc., etc., etc., but just a little call or no-call here or there can make a game-changing difference. UK has been the unfortunate recipient of this in Higgins- and Luckie-officiated games, especially (see 2005, 2010, 2011, 2015, 2017 and 2018...FAR too many).
If people don't speak out, it will keep happening. I can only imagine how devastated the sports media world would have been had Duke gone down in the 2nd Round, after a season of endless Puke discussions . . . .
Here's hoping that UK's next games in the Tournament will be called fairly and without controversy! Go 'Cats!

In the “Higgins game” it was 7 calls here or there.

This Duke vs UCF game just gets worse by the day.It just seems strange that each time a missed call is brought to light the call or the no call favors Duke.

Every non-Duke fan in the rest of Duke's tournament games should show up in a UCF jersey and do their best to boo Duke out of the gym. When does all this Duke fest get to be too much for everyone instead of just us?

It really is pretty egregious stuff. It's almost like they're getting so comfortable with no one calling them out that it's getting more blatant.

I have to think if this continues, the backlash will continue to get louder as this stuff taken in aggregate is indefensible. The question is does that happen in the next two weeks or not.

All I know is that right now you'd better have a lead of 8+ going into the final minute against Duke or you're not winning.

It's so unfortunate. I remember Jon Hood saying in the aftermath of our 2017 robbery that you had to be 15 points better than the other team. That's so sad to me, that just being 1 point better isn't good enough anymore.
I think back to our SEC Tournament matchup vs. UT and how those so called "fouls" on Reid completely changed the momentum and therefore, the course of the game. The proof is on tape, as Cal likes to say. And then you think about the consequences of that loss, the LSU loss --- those were seed-changing losses.
I'm hoping things get called fairly this week! After that game Sunday, so many people were talking about the officiating that there is likely to be greater scrutiny, at least from the fans and hopefully by those in charge, too.

Sadly it probably won't happen in the next two weeks or even as long as K is there.Whoever is driving this machine is more than willing to weather any storm that might spring up,once the tournament is over it will all go away for the next 6 months until Duke starts playing again.

The UNC academic scandal was bad and it lasted for a generation of student/athletes(if you want to call them that) but Duke by some means is able to steal games on the court in front of a gym full of people and a national audience. Think about that for just a minute,we lament games where missed calls or wrong calls cost us wins vs UT or UNC or LSU.Duke is handed games on a regular basis no matter who the opponent might be.

When their plan is "I'm going to say something and hope no one asks me to back it up," they don't have an argument.
I don't think the Duke fans even believe some of the stuff they post here. They know their team is treated differently on several levels(media, selection committee,NCAA and by officials)
