I’m not mad at the no charge call.

I’m More mad at UCF blowing the alley to go up 6 with less than 2 minutes to go.

This...my buddy and i were just talking about the same thing , but it WAS still a charge.
He charged. Barret pushed off. The guy on the other side did a blatant hook and hold. My hope is the Duke hate from the average fan gets amped up even more. So sick of their bias. The refs and the media want them to advance for the ratings. Such bullfeces!

This is why people complain about officiating. They don't call the game by the rules from beginning to the end. If it's a foul 5 seconds into the game, it's a foul with 5 seconds left. Refs need to stop thinking about impact of calls and simply call the game.

Always amazed at the lack of self awareness while reading this board. UCF had some bad calls today but you folks really believe Kentucky is the only blue blood that doesn't get the calls?

You might want to check out what other boards and twitter are saying after Kentucky beat Wofford. There's a lot of people saying if not for favorable calls yesterday, Kentucky would be sitting at home right now too.

Bottom line - some heads will roll for allowing the game to be that close. Duke could have actually lost!

Lol

Yeah the gray/white haired ref that called that charge on Zion wont be scheduled to work anymore Duke games..

He tried to make up for it bu swallowing his whistle the last free throw but you cant call a charge on Zion and get away with it.

UCF in on the conspiracy too? Did they miss the lob dunk on purpose. Convert that and probably ball game!
No bad plays happen, but over and over again in crunch time calls go Dukes way.
UCf missing a lob does not make it ok for officials who are supposed to be neutral over and over again make call that benefit the same certain team over and over

Now do a breakdown of Taco’s 10 fouls where he lives on someone’s back, brings his arms down on every block attempt, and dislodges a guy in the post. Dude literally had 12 fouls tonight.
Zion charged 10 times.

And trucked a guy on the sideline leading to a fast break

I dunno about these theories. If the refs really wanted to help Duke they'd have called a shot clock violation on UCF and taken away two points instead of saying the replay was inconclusive. The straight on camera angle was pretty conclusive IMHO. And, Tacko absolutely mugged Zion on one play at the basket with no call. Before anyone starts, there's no way I wanted Duke to win.

Indisputable is the key word. It wasn't indisputable. Call stays as called.

Most certainly did with left hand...rewatched the sequence three times from the TWO charges on AW, push in the back on Barrett to #12 riding the guy all the way to the basket on the drive...pathetic!!!
Missed hook and hold on the free throw might have been the worst of all. How many times in the season have they went to the monitor for that?

I hate them too. But I feel pretty good that they won't make it to the title game. One of LSU/MSU/Gonzaga/FSU/TTU/Michigan will beat them.

If you look at it, it looks like K actually practiced this and called it to be done. Barrett and Del were too obvious.

UCF blew that game. Officials were horrible in my opinion period and no it wasn’t Duke won because Duke got the calls. Charges were called that were blocks, fouls not called that were egregious. This occurred on both sides. I’m sorry, if it was a case where Duke got the favor whistle I would say so. Cam didn’t even foul on his 4th. Duke is lucky. Luck is often needed in the tournament. Dawkins Jr was on a mission and almost put them on his back for the W. I was coming here ready to own up to a loss but Zion did what a star does.
Why are you on this board?

Wonder how Dawkins feels being in the other end of a Duke screw job.

When he was there, there was no favoritism. Hell, those teams were labeled 'chokers'. Coach K was the guy who squandered chances and couldn't win the big one. Then they beat undefeated thug-life UNLV in '91 and have been NCAA and media darling ever since

You can’t take the shot away. First of all it clearly hit. Second of all there was nothing else to show it didn’t.

It’s death by 1,000 cuts. Taco to the bench, Zion allowed to play bully ball from a guard position with 300 lbs. it’s the tone they set all game. It favors Duke 100%

Btw, Zion actually committed his second foul in the middle of the second half and they official let it go.
Clearly hit? Lol There's nothing clear about that at all. if anything I would say it didn't hit because the ball didn't change any kind of trajectory and you would think if it grazed the rim at all it would have went off in a different direction.

Look. A Dukie crying about fouls. I've seen it all now. Wow!

Nice to meet you kettle!

Sincerely,
Pot

For the record, didn’t comment on fouls. Only responded to the 1,256 posts on here wanting a foul going for rebound,in the lane, with under a minute to go. Anyone who has ever watched a hoops game knows the refs swallow their whistles late. It’s a stupid counterintuitive practice but they all do it.

Tons of calls went in favor of UK. If not for the officials Wofford wins the game

No they don't ALL do it. Thinking like that is what enables them to cost UCF the game and move Duke on.

Then you obviously didn’t see the angle where it clearly hit.
