Zion looked like a wrecking ball going thru the lane. The kid is good but by no means needs any help from the zebras.
I always gave my kids a 'test"; to explain what it means when I say, "That team did not win the game, the other team lost it".
Duke did not "win" the game, UCF lost it; blew it really.

UCF blew that game. Officials were horrible in my opinion period and no it wasn’t Duke won because Duke got the calls. Charges were called that were blocks, fouls not called that were egregious. This occurred on both sides. I’m sorry, if it was a case where Duke got the favor whistle I would say so. Cam didn’t even foul on his 4th. Duke is lucky. Luck is often needed in the tournament. Dawkins Jr was on a mission and almost put them on his back for the W. I was coming here ready to own up to a loss but Zion did what a star does.

If by some miracle Duke and Tennessee end up in the championship game, well find out if grant williams or zion williamson is the most protected player in college basketball. I'll put my money on Zion.

Now do a breakdown of Taco’s 10 fouls where he lives on someone’s back, brings his arms down on every block attempt, and dislodges a guy in the post. Dude literally had 12 fouls tonight.

and his arms were being held damn near every play as well, or do those not count?

Puhleeeeese,

Zion literally had 4 obvious charges. Got called for one.

He also tackled a guy for a steal, and committed no less than 2 other clear fouls on defense that weren't called.

ucf played a really good game. missed a few plays they should’ve made and couldn’t overcome bad calls.

every time an outcome doesn't go the way they want it to UK fans whine and complain about the refs. It is so hilarious. You can actually set your watch to it.

Zion charged (or a block on UCF) ... not a not call. Can't foul Zion out. Then a video and pics going around on big hook and hold by duke on offensive rebound winner.

I dunno about these theories. If the refs really wanted to help Duke they'd have called a shot clock violation on UCF and taken away two points instead of saying the replay was inconclusive. The straight on camera angle was pretty conclusive IMHO. And, Tacko absolutely mugged Zion on one play at the basket with no call. Before anyone starts, there's no way I wanted Duke to win.

You can’t take the shot away. First of all it clearly hit. Second of all there was nothing else to show it didn’t.

It’s death by 1,000 cuts. Taco to the bench, Zion allowed to play bully ball from a guard position with 300 lbs. it’s the tone they set all game. It favors Duke 100%

Btw, Zion actually committed his second foul in the middle of the second half and they official let it go.

Bottom line - some heads will roll for allowing the game to be that close. Duke could have actually lost!

Guys, everything you are saying is 100% correct about Puke; but still, UCF still had several chances to win it even with the zebras against them.
Two rebounds they gave away, no excuse
One blown dunk on fast break
Last second put back on missed three throw; third rebound missed.

All in the last 2 minutes.
Bad enough the refs were doing all they could to help the rats, but damn, UCF did a pretty good job themselves of helping the rats.

That is the absolute definition of that call and why it was implemented. Text-book, so of course they don't call it.
