Few years back I knew a guy on the staff and they had an opening. I sort of felt like maybe just maybe getting back into varsity FB.
So I went and met with the HC and he was a good guy. Told me the job was mine if I wanted it and then started to tell me about their coaching schedule.
Friday night after the game until 11 or so, Saturday for 3-4 hours. Sunday was "family day" so it meant we would not have to come in until after church and then it was only 2-3 hours.
I said I would think about it and later told him No thanks. I was like, who needs all that time to go winless each season?
