Where you been" One of my favorites to talk sports with and eschew the name calling! Wish I would have acted on your tip....would have doubled my money!

Yeah. I got in at $32 and am up over 60% now.

I haven't been on hardly at all. Changed job, then had my kidney transplant, and the time away just kinda showed how silly all of this stuff is, and I've barely been back.

Miss some of it a bit, but I look at the boards and it's still the same stuff by the same people all the time. That's what kinda drove me away, I could predict what people would say before they said it. Not a lot of value really.

The banter with you was different of course, but there's not enough of that. One, you know your sports, and two, you're witty as hell. Never really knew what you'd come up with but it always cracked me up.

I wish I could claim some kind of great financial analytical skills on the Nutanix, but it was basically just the right place at the right time. The place I worked was going to it and in researching it I found they were getting all kinds of contracts and that their IPO was coming up. Didn't get in on the IPO, but bought in a month or so after I think.

My suspicion is that they'll eventually get bought out by one of the bigger players in datacenter equipment. NetApp maybe, or Cisco, Dell, HP, etc. Everybody is trying to go towards hyper-converged solutions, but Nutanix beat everybody to market.

Hope all is going well with your new Kidney and your new job! I too get weary of the name calling but we still often have lively discussions of sports....the board is better with you on it so don't abandon ship!

....a lot of the market is timing isn't it! I guess we should all just buy AMZ and just forget about it.

Absolutely. Basically everything in life is about timing really, but you do need to be prepared to take advantage of it as well.

Thanks.
Everything is perfect with the new kidney. Surgery was on Friday and we were sent home on Monday. (my wife was the donor) No complications whatsoever then or now. The biggest thing is that I feel better now, because the last couple of years I was worn out and feeling like **** all the time. I'm living my life again now instead of just waiting. It's great. I have energy for the gym again, energy for mountain biking again, and I started taking paragliding lessons. Life is f'n great!! :)
