Won 31-0. Quite a program coach Snodgrass has going out there.
Good MORNING!!!!!! Yes, I'm a 1970 grad of York High(yes, I'm old!!!
) Grew up there from age 6 through 2 years at York College...Duke through and through....played basketball and tennis and legion baseball. Our class was pretty accomplished athletically...if I recall, we won state tennis( if you look at the board by the courts, you'll find yours truly)., state cross country, and maybe state golf...i'm a bit fuzzy...our football guys went 9-0, finished second in the polls(no playoffs in those days)...I think we gave up 26 points TOTAL all year...but I want to say Pius gave up THREE!!!! Our basketball team was one big man away from being really good, but oh, my goodness...our league had THREE incredible players, all of whom were stellar college players...Tom Kropp, Bob Siegel , and Gene Harmon...earlier Chuck Jura..... plus a host of others.
I loved my town growing up, and when I go back for reunions, I'm reminded of WHY...GREAT PEOPLE.
