The kid was highly thought of coming out of HS. He committed to Miami then ended up at Fork Union due to grades. He had a lot of offers in his one semester there, but the P-5 programs chasing him lost interest late when it looked like he wouldn't qualify once again. I think Marshall took him as a prop?
My guess is he didn't make the grades he needed over the summer. It's not Bob Pruitt's Marshall anymore. Kids with negative GPA's only get two years these days at the Moo.
