Who in the heck gets his college basketball information from Goodman anyway? Plus he’s always been a Kentucky hater. I just ignore the clown.
Every time a reeves scores a chipmonk gets the nuts out of his cheeks.
I like the dude. Still will reserve judgement until we play legit competition. Might be a streaky dude also. He’s definitely a volume shooter. That works when he’s on but can kill you when he’s off.

Goodman is an idiot. We've all known this for many years. He probably didn't even write this article and his peon didn't do his research.
Goodman’s actually been solid on Field of 68. Hes really high on us. He had a 20 minute interview with Oscar last week.
One thing that Oscar said that really stood out was he talked about which guys should play. Oscar said he told Cal(paraphrasing here) “play the guys that are going to help us win. If someone is playing bad don’t play them. Even me. If i’m not helping us win take me out of the game”.
That said Reeves was low on a lot of people’s transfer rankings. The concensus seemed to be they didn’t trust that he’d be able to produce at the same level against better competition and there were a lot of good transfers.
Kind of silly to me because he’s a 6’5 guard with a 36” vertical and can shoot it. Not sure what they think won’t translate to power 5 competition.

I actually would have never known about Goodman’s list of impact transfers if it hasn’t been posted on this board multiple times. Why promote him if you think he’s such a moron?
Where this argument really falls apart is when looking at Reeves' conference rival, Isiaih Mosley, from Missouri St. Mosley was a near-consensus top 10 transfer while Reeves was in the 30s/40s. Mosley played on a better team and had a slightly better stat line, but there shouldn't be 30 players between the two of them on a ranking list.
When I watched Reeves film I new he was going to be good here. I didn’t understand the low ranking. When I saw people comparing him to a very solid player in Mintz I kinda rolled my eyes. Reeves looked way quicker and way more advanced offensively than Mintz ever did.
I'm scratching my head a bit why every time someone posts an article or list, you have to complain about it. If you don't like the threads, simply ignore them. There, fixed your problem.
lol ... I'm just saying some of our fans get way too worked up over stuff that just really does not matter, at all. I don't follow Jeff Goodman on twitter. I don't read his articles. Because I don't think he's great at what he does. So nothing he posts bothers me. Problem solved. I see your point, but we have some folks that act like this **** matters. His opinion means nothing to me.
