As a Broncos fan, I bargained with the football gods to concede the AFCW to the Chiefs in order for Minnesota’s comeback attempt to come to an end.

Are we taking about the same Donkey losers that have 3 Super Bowl rings since the Queefs so much as sniffed a playoff win, let alone a Super Bowl appearance? I’m going to laugh when Splatrick officially becomes RGIII 2.0
Chiefs fan has a lot in common with Iowa fan. Programs are similar as well, a lot of good seasons a few really good seasons, but never getting it done on the biggest stage.
I hadn't watched any NBA since the Jordan era Bulls folded, but now I'll stop and watch any Golden State game I see is on. Fun to watch. Similarly, I've never been a fan of or watched much NFL either, but I've watched several Chiefs games this year. Fun football. RG3 at his best couldn't sniff Mahomes' jockstrap.

I may just be bitter in knowing the Chefs finally have a franchise qb for the next decade...I can always hope Bradley Chubb and Von Miller break him.
The thing about von is that he never really lays the wood. Too much of a finesse/speed rusher
Mahomes is the best QB in the league right now, I'll listen if you want to argue Brady, but he's so far above where RG3 ever was they should never be mentioned in the same sentence, ever.

Broncos fans are the biggest homers. I lived in Denver and used to have goat arguments with the locals all the time. Peyton vs. Brady. Imo it’s not even close

I thought the same thing - but as you’d expect, Mahomes is less prone to ‘rookie’ mistakes - maybe because he’s not a rookie
.The Chiefs have historically failed in the playoffs in large part because they didn’t have a game-changer at QB...they always seemed to have the 49ers second choice. Not anymore - Mahomes has passed every test so far - with more than flying colors.
He most closely resembles Aaron Rodgers, and probably Brett Favre. Just absolutely fearless, with an incredible understanding of what defenses are trying to do to him. I’m sure growing up in Major League Baseball clubhouses has helped him not be overwhelmed by the NFL. He’s been around the best in the world his entire life. It’s completely normal for him.
