On the front page he’s listed as 100% N and a 3 star…?
I'm pretty sure it's just related to his walk-on status. I read an article where he was coming here as a walk-on over some D-1 scholarships. One of the reasons I'm so bullish on our future. Getting OT's with D1 offers to walk-on with NIL is a very, very good sign.

Honestly other than for bragging purposes and maybe early Fall camp entry, I don't see any real advantage to having an official scholarship vs. a walk-on NIL deal. If they wanted I'm sure they could add an extra guaranteed NIL sweetener bonus for those willing to be walk-on NILs without an official scholarship.

If he's going onto an NIL only deal, he doesn't sign a letter of intent. He could sign something else for ceremonial sake but it wouldn't be binding.
