Right. We all remember JJ Redick's one year at Duke before leaving for the NBA.
You said NBA body. I recall Riddick following final year at Duke. He wasn’t that much further along that what Herro is now and Herro is more athletic.

The thing about great shooters, contrary to popular opinion, is they aren’t taught.

Guys like Allen, Curry, Booker, and even guys like Herro have a release that is natural and perfect. You will absolutely not learn that and Herro is being consistent away from knocking it down from all over the floor. Once he decides to square up it’s over and it’s one of those things you just know.

He should come back and he will probably end up a lottery pick once he blows. If not he’ll be damn close to it. He stands to gain a lot by coming back.

And the “out of shoes” stuff to me is stupid. I don’t care how tall he is on a roof or in flip flops. In basketball they wear basketball shoes every time.

His body might not be ideal in some sense but it’s not terrible either. And again, he has a stroke you cannot teach. Teams know when it starts to fall consistently he will be a deadly scorer.

I didn't say NBA body. I said that when a guy with Herro's physical profile at his position is OAD, that guy will be the first.

There's a long list of guys like him with solid NBA careers. But the league isn't falling over itself to draft them at 19.

Not trying to play on the white factor, but what exactly makes herro oad compared to reddick who was a 4 yr player? Reddick is the better shooter but herro is better at creating, and is more athletic.

Well, for one, Redick was in the high school class of 2002, meaning he graduated high school when Tyler Herro was 2 years old. Quite a bit has changed since then.

Sure they have, but guys were still leaving early or going after high school.

Sounds like he is fine then. I wish the kid the best. Can you believe that Anthony kid is going to play for Crean? He must have grown up a die hard Georgia fan of is getting a big payday from boosters or someone?

He's from Georgia. Maybe he doesn't want the spotlight at UK. It's easy to throw those accusations, as seen by the whole FBI blowup and stuff, but I'm not ready to say that. Who knows though

I was reading about that top five recruit that is apparently going to go play for Crean at Georgia which absolutely blows my mind. As an IU fan I can’t see why any top recruit would want to play for him? But anyways, it then said that Herro is leaning towards going into the draft this year. Is that real? I don’t watch many UK games but he’s not good enough to go anytime soon is he? The way this board talks about him he doesn’t sound to be nearly as good as his ranking coming in? Anyways, I just wondered? And yes, I know IU is terrible this year...I know I know
Really? You don’t have anything better to do on a Friday night than this?

Are you finally burned out masturbating in your Moms basement?

In one of his interviews after he committed to us he said he was coming here because of how quick we put players in the pro's. Kinda shocked me actually but he's ballin so it wouldn't surprise me at all if he left. Be awesome if he came back.

Troll please. He was ranked around 30 and has led our team plenty of times. Just because a few other trolls or idiots on here tried to bash him when he was in a slump early on doesn't mean anything. Dude is a straight baller. Killing it from 2, way better from 3 and money at the line. Defense is there, hustle and everything you want in a BB player. The kid will be a star at the next level.

Personally I think he's gone... I think the NBA folks like his game and his beautiful jump shot. Just depends if Herro wants to go late 1st round or stay and may jump in lotto
