How do you know he “hates school?”
Agreed, I believe Allen plays next season, too. I think he's gonna surprise some people. IMO, he's very underrated.
I didn't say he hated school, just that he "didn't like it".
My source is Matt Jones, so take it for what it's worth. He's mentioned it several times over the last month.

Both of those guys were definitely not 1st round picks.
I have no inside information, but adding a combo guard and 3 wings to a team with 3 experienced guards probably won't help Tyler's draftstock next year. Keep in mind that there's only one backcourt player leaving from this year's team. PJ's competition for playing time this year was far from competitive.
That's my point tho.
if Hero goes it's not because he "hates school" but rather because his talent put him into the position to go.
I don't think liking/not liking school is really going to into this.
I feel like those things tend to be way overblown.

But if you did hate it--being a 1st round pick is probably enough to outright go. Could be a combination.

3 for 18 in the NCAAT is enough to prove he isn't ready. Any ONE of the 3 wide-open looks he got from deep, goes down......and WE are cutting down the nets! Shameful
1) If ANY player in regulation makes another shot be it 2 or 3, we win the game. Not sure why that's just specific to Herro. If PJ didn't have 5 turnovers. If Hagans didn't have 7 turnovers. If we made more free throws. I mean I'm not sure you can pin it on guy when it's one possession that changes the outcome.
2) We don't know that. So Herro hits a 3 and we beat Auburn.......go to the final four. We have no clue if we would have knocked off either UVA or Texas Tech.
I feel like if Herro is guaranteed a pick in the lottery he needs to go. He would have a bigger risk of playing himself into a worse spot next season then playing himself into a top 10 pick. Most of the top 10 guys are usually freak athletes getting picked on potential.

I've never heard any of Cals players publicly say they hate school- definitely not while they were in school...
I'm positive this has been answered but I cannot remember the answer. When's the deadline for players to declare?
