#LaFamilia???

In all the years I've been in Lexington, that's the most Spanish I've ever seen. Seems like a really weird hashtag someone invented in the last decade that doesn't really represent UK basketball.

Well Lexington is one of the least diverse large cities in the country so was probably a smart move....would you prefer...

When did Lexington become a large city?
Probably some time in the late '90's?

Large City (1): A principal city of a metropolitan area, with the city having a population greater than or equal to 250,000. ... Urban Fringe of a Midsize City (4): Any incorporated place, Census-designated place, or non-place territory within a metropolitan area of a midsize city and defined as urban by the Census Bureau.

Lexington is the second-largest city in Kentucky and the county seat of Fayette County. By population, it is the 57th-largest city in the United States, and by land area, is the country's 28th-largest city. Known as the "Horse Capital of the World", it is the heart of the state's Bluegrass region. Notable locations in the city include the Kentucky Horse Park, The Red Mile and Keeneland race courses, Rupp Arena, Transylvania University, the University of Kentucky, and Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Lexington ranks 10th among US cities in college education rate, with 39.5% of residents having at least a bachelor's degree and 92.2% of households having at least one personal computer.[5][6]

This forum has turned on Boy Wonder because he doesn’t act the way people think he should act. They want him dressed up like a frat boy in a bow tie at Keeneland. They think he’s trying to be someone he’s not, when in reality he’s doing what he wants to do, while everyone else looks like clones.

I love Tyler Herro. I wish him nothing but success. I also think he was the most over-rated player by our fans we’ve ever had.

Probably one of the more underrated by this fan base in reality. Many swore that he wouldn’t play much his Freshman year and would be a 3 year player. There are few at Kentucky who exceeded expectations more than Herro did. Also hit a huge shot to get us to the Elite 8.

Put his stats up against every other SG in the league and compare their first two years. Come back to me and tell me who had better stats their first 2 years. Of current Shooting Guards, that list will be short. His numbers are actually comparable to Brad Beal’s first 2 years.

I’m not referring to the NBA. He was a a shooting guard who shot well for a month in the middle of the season. No Ill will toward the guy but his tournament performance is why we weren’t in the final four or even champions. He was absolutely horrendous in the tournament. We’d have been better off if he didn’t play. I’m editing this because I do t want to beat on the guy. I’m glad he came to UK and I hope he kills it in the league. I haven’t seen anything that would make me cheer against the guy.
