Because of those two, I’m becoming a heat fan.
Yeah I have to say this is weird. I have to try and go from not caring much about the Heat through the years to really not liking them when Lebron was there to now having to try and really like them with Herro and Bam there.
Could have been player of the year and top 5 pick had he returned.
True, but he's doing pretty well as it is. A back court of Hagans, Maxey, and Herro would've been something to see though.

which would of been insanely stupid of him obviously but you are not incorrect. Most guys that leave UK make the right decisions . I do think Johnson was one of those that made the wrong one last season , like Dakari , Teague and a few others but most leave when they should .
A few nights ago when he pulled up for 3 after the steal with 10 seconds left was nuts. He’s having a great year. I’ve seen some analyst putting him and Nunn up with Morant as the 3 guys who could win ROY.

He got picked 13th and is averaging great numbers in the NBA. He was NBA ready and needed to leave.
He definitely would have been. What might have been. Instead he went lottery; he’s killing it in Miami and worth about $20 million. At 19-20 years old. It’s clear now he made the right choice for him.
Pat Riley is the president of the Miami Heat. He drafted Herro, Bam, Kendrick Nunn, traded for Dragic and Butler. It's working.
I can't bring myself to watch any of Bam's NBA games. Just thinking about what he should have been here makes my head hurt. He was a non-factor on offense here...pretty much relegated to catching the occasional lob. In the league he's uber-confident and essentially a point guard in a center's body.
13 ppg, 8 rpg, 6.2 FTA/gm. Not exactly a cipher. On a team with Malik Monk, De’Aaron Fox, and Isaiah Briscoe, how would you have made Bam more of a factor on offense??
My guess is he was simply referring to when Riley was the Head Coach of the Lakers and winning championships there with Magic. Still liked Riley but was not a fan of the Lakers franchise perhaps?
To be fair , it’s also a lot different being an 18 year old fresh out of high school VS being 21-22 and having already played consecutive years in the NBA with the absolute greatest trainers, gyms etc along with focusing literally on nothing but basketball and buying dope *** ****.
